Description

The flyback is one of the most prized chronograph complications – a sophisticated enhancement that allows wearers to time multiple intervals back to back without the repetitive hassle (and loss of accuracy) of a regular stopwatch. The Stratos Flyback series is a particularly fine family of timepieces from Zenith's iconic El Primero collection. Beating at an amazing 36,000vph (5Hz) and capable of measuring time to a tenth of a second, the El Primero was one of three world-first automatic chronograph movements that appeared in 1969. Today it remains one the most prestigious and desirable – not to mention precise – chronos, and is used in a range of market-leading watches from both Zenith and other brands.
